Runcorn beat Abbey Hey in the The Hallmark Security League Premier Division at Abbey Stadium with a score of 0-4. Freddie Potter put the Linnets ahead in the 24th minute following a skilful strike after turning on the spot in the six yard box. Mark Houghton increased the Linnets' lead in the 36th minute with a cheeky tap from just outside the 6 yard box. Freddie Potter extended our lead following a cracking strike from inside the area in the 39th minute. Paul Shanley put us four goals clear with a well-taken effort from close range in the 86th minute.
