Craig Lindfield

Craig twice won the FA Youth Cup with Liverpool while gaining England Under 19s international honours. The Greasby-born player had joined the Reds' Academy at eight years old. Youth Cup winners' medals were won in successive seasons (2005-06 and,2006-07).Craig joined the senior squad at Anfield in 2006 and was a member of LFC's 2008 Dallas Cup-winning side, returning from the USA as the tournament's top scorer with six goals.During his Liverpool career, Craig was loaned to Notts County, Chester City, Bournemouth and Accrington Stanley.Seven England U19s appearances were crowned by three goals.On leaving Anfield in 2009, Craig made more than 100 Football League appearances for Macclesfield Town and Accrington Stanley.He has had two spells at Marine, rejoining them in July 2019 after serving a number of non-league clubs, among them Chester in the Conference (in 2013) and FC United of Manchester (who he first joined in 2014).A move to Ashton United during 2015-16 saw Craig help the Robins secure an NPL Premier Division play-off berth. He first joined the Mariners on contract in summer 2016, before returning to FC United. March 2018 saw Craig being named as captain for his 100th appearance for the Broadhurst Park club.Craig, a right-sided player, had a cameo role in Radcliffe's 2018-19 NPL Division One West promotion run. He has also represented Runcorn Town and Nantwich Town.Craig signed for the Linnets at the end of January 2020.
