David is continuing his journey into coaching - and lifelong support of his hometown club -  as assistant goalkeeping coach.

A Runcorn fan since the early 2000s, he had been part of the backroom team since 2012-13, as deputy kitman and then kitman.

David subsequently became involved in coaching our 'keepers, latterly working alongside goalkeeper coach Chris Appleton and then Graeme Hewitt.
