The Northern Premier League

Louis Hayes

Position : Midfield

Louis was quick to impress with his energy, physicality and maturity on arrival from Chester in 2019-20. Coming into the club during the summer of 2020, Linnets boss Calum McIntyre knew all about Louis' abilities due to their shared Deva connections.

Louis joined the Linnets in November 2019, having enjoyed a temporary Northern Premier League stint earlier in 2019-20 at Premier Division Bamber Bridge.

His three appearances for Brig included one start. Louis is a Chester FC Academy graduate, one of five players to have signed their first senior deals with the city club in August 2019, after impressing through the Blues scholarship programme.

Chester FC Youth Academy won the National League Alliance Division J title in 2018-19.

A central midfielder from Halewood, Louis arrived at the Swansway Chester Stadium from Blackbuirn Rovers in May 2017.

He was recalled from a loan spell at Burscough in order to make the move up two divisions to Bamber Bridge.

Louis made seven appearances for Burscough, featuring in the same side as Kyle Hamid when our then captain turned out for them to gain match fitness after injury.

Louis had earlier impressed - playing at centre back - in Chester's pre-season fixtures at Cheadle and Rylands and he came off the bench to score in the Blues' Cheshire Senior Cup victory at Runcorn Town in October 2019.

Louis Hayes is not available for sponsorship at this time.
