Ryan was Golden Boot winner in the 2021-22 Northern Premier League West Division campaign.

He scored 34 goals in all competitions, striking twice in the Play-off semi-final at Leek Town and also putting us ahead in the final at home to Marine.

Ryan was no stranger to our club on signing in summer 2020 - having scored against us for Mossley early in the previous season!

The striker became the first player from outside the existing group to be signed by boss Calum McIntyre.

Ryan's senior career began at Oldham Athletic, where he played in the Football League. While at Boundary Park, he had loan spells at Barrow and AFC Telford United.

Upon leaving Oldham, after 29 first team appearances, Ryan moved to Altrincham before helping Curzon Ashton into National League North. His first spell of two at Tameside Stadium brought him 41 goals in 121 outings.

Ryan returned to Curzon after a stint at Nantwich Town to enjoy 37 further appearances with nine more goals, mostly from midfield.
