Runcorn Linnets exited the North West Under 21s Development League Cup at the first hurdle after losing on penalties away to Runcorn Sports. Sports won the shootout 4-3, an entertaining derby at St Clement's School having been all square at 3-3 after 90 minutes. Fitstly, a Runcorn Linnets Supporters XI will be pitched against Runcorn Sports & Referees in memory of Darren Strain, who died earlier this year after battling cancer. Daz was a passionate supporter and Trust member at Linnets and also well known both locally and across the region as a prominent ma
