The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on May 25th 2018.

The GDPR replaces the Data Protection Act 1998 in its entirety and now regulates the processing of personal data in the UK.

Runcorn Linnets FC's Privacy Policy (available here) sets out how, for what reason and on what terms data, including that provided by Trust members on their membership application form, is processed and stored by the club.

It has been devised with help from the Football Association, working with Muckle LLP, who provide support to Charter Standard Clubs to ensure compliance with the new regulations.
