Applications invited for Tea Bar Manager job

A vacancy has arisen for the position of Tea Bar Manager at Runcorn Linnets FC.

The club is seeking a dynamic and organised individual, who revels in a social environment and has the flair to manage a busy tea bar operation.

This is a part-time role, which would require commitment from the successful candidate to work during the football season (July-May), mostly at weekends and evenings.

Applicants would be responsible for recruiting and arranging staff and for stocking the two tea bars at APEC Taxis Stadium.

Pay will be at a competitive hourly rate to be discussed.

Key tasks will include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the tea bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service on match days and at other events

  • Maintaining a clean and organised tea bar area, adhering to health and safety standards

  • Managing inventory, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed

  • Recruiting, training, and supervising tea bar staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service.

  • Fostering a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for supporters, players, sponsors and guests.

Previous catering experience in a sporting and/or hospitality setting would be preferred.

The successful candidate will report to the club chairman.
