Here we go again...

We entertain Stalybridge Celtic on Saturday to kickstart our Northern Premier League West Division season - in an immediate turnaround from April's Play-off semi-final between the clubs.

Celtic beat us by the only goal to progress to the final but likewise miissed out as Avro took the second promotion spot.

Both line-ups have since changed. Michael Ellison has continued to reshape his squad, although not all new signings are instantly available.

Kian Bell has missed all pre-season through injury while fellow defender Ed Jones played only a cameo.

Established midfielder Sean Miller is recovering from a hernia operation.

Stalybridge's recruits include winger Obua Mugalula, who returns from Mossley, their former loan striker Lewis Rawsthorne and midfielder Cameron Fogerty (both from Bury) plus centre back Josh Granite (ex-Matlock Town).

It should be a cracker between two teams strongly tipped to again be in the title hunt.
