JR Levins sponsor Liverpool Senior Cup tie against MSB Woolton

SOLICITORS JR Levins are sponsoring our Liverpool Senior Cup tie against MSB Woolton on Tuesday, January 13th in a show of support for non-league football in the city region.

The company, which has a Runcorn branch in Rutland House at Halton Lea, next to Runcorn Shopping City, is hiring the club's hospitality suite for the evening.

They say that as a people-first firm, this demonstrates their ongoing commitment to the local community and supporting the people around them.

The company add: "Runcorn Linnets have grown into a respected name in non-league football, competing in the Northern Premier League West Division.

"Over the years, the club has experienced its share of challenges but despite this, its commitment to supporters and the wider area has remained consistent.

"Today, Runcorn Linnets prides itself on its men’s and women’s teams, a growing youth programme and facilities that continue to benefit local families."

The match will see Linnets take on MSB Woolton, a Step 6 side competing in the North West Counties Football League for the first time.

The fixture carries an added point of interest within the company as one of its partners, Dave Woods, served as Chair of MSB Woolton for more than 25 years.

JR Levins add that while their sponsorship is in support of the home team, Runcorn Linnets, Dave’s long-standing involvement with MSB Woolton makes this a "particularly meaningful occasion and a great example of football’s ability to bring communities together".

A spokesperson said: "Supporting grassroots football feels right to us as the values that drive football such as community, teamwork and resilience, are qualities that mirror the way we work at JR Levins.

"Just as football players support one another to achieve their goals, we stand alongside our clients to guide them through life’s most important decisions with professionalism and care."

Angela White, Practice Manager, said: “We are delighted to support Runcorn Linnets for their home match.

"JR Levins has served the people of Runcorn for many years, and this is a small way for us to give something back to the community.

"We wish the team every success for the game and the season ahead..

The spokesperson added: "We look forward to attending the match and supporting the team on the day.

"Keep an eye on our news page and social media channels for updates, photos and highlights from the fixture."
