Linnets mourn stalwart supporter Tony Jones

Runcorn Linnets Football Club regret to inform you all that Tony Jones sadly lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday 18th August, aged 73.

Tony supported the Linnets for over 50 years, home and away, and passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side.

Tony was a brother to Glenys, uncle to Tam and Courtney, and great-uncle to Anya, Finley and Blythe.

He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and everyone who knew him around Runcorn Linnets.

Our thoughts and condolences are with all of Tony’s family and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.
