Adam Rigby has joined Runcorn Linnets as goalkeeper coach.
Adam has North West Counties League playing experience with several clubs and moves into coaching after retiring through injury.
Adam's former clubs include Cheade Town, New Mills and Cheadlle Heath Nomads.
He played last season with Mersey Valley in Cheshire League Division Two.
Adam succeeds Dave Piercy, who left at the end of last season for a post in Japan.
Assistant boss Rob Sadler said: “We are really pleased to be able to bring Adam in.
"He is someone I have contacted numerous times at previous clubs for the GK role but he always wanted to prolong his playing career.
"It was important we got Davey’s replacement right and we had some very strong applicants.
"Both myself and Brad were really impressed with how Adam came across, his attention to detail and session plans.
"We are delighted to have him as part of our backroom staff and he has a massive part to play in what is a big pre-season for us."
