Linnets support Toy Appeal with matchday collections

Runcorn Linnets are again contributing to the Halton Christmas Toy Appeal and inviting donations to help spread festive cheer.

We're asking all involved with Runcorn Linnets to bring toys, games, books and soft toys.

Presents can be dropped off in the MDB Gas Clubhouse at APEC Taxis Stadium before the following home matches:

Tuesday, December 10th - v Vauxhall Motors (Cheshire Senior Cup)

Saturday, December 14th - v Hanley Town (Pitching In NPL West)

Saturday, December 21st - v Wythenshawe (Pitching In NPL West)

Please don't forget gifts, which would be suitable for older children.

Trust members have chance to bring gifts for the appeal to the club AGM, now rearranged for Monday, December 16th, if they prefer.

All we ask is that items are new and unwrapped.

We'd be very grateful for all support for our collection.

Halton Christmas Toy Appeal supports disadvantaged children in the borough in conjunction with various agencies.

Josh Christian, Trust Board member and Linnets in the Community manager, said: "Our supporters have been great supporters of the Toy Appeal over recent years and are always quick to answer the call when it comes to supporting our community.

"I am sure they will rally to the cause again wherever possible to aid this very worthy and much-needed appeal."
