Liverpool Senior Cup opponents confirmed as Under 21s win

Runcorn Linnets will visit MSB Woolton in the last 16 of the Liverpool Senior Cup.

Woolton beat Bootle 5-4 on penalties in tonight's delayed tie after a 1-1 draw at Jericho Lane.

Meanwhile Linnets U21s kept up the chase of table topping Warrington Town with a 2-1 victory at UDA Soccer at Chester University.

Goals came from Cameron Schofield and Owen Cushion with Jay Lee being awarded the the Thistledown Group man of the match.

Our U21s trail Warrington by five points in the North West Under 21s Development League Premier Division with two games in hand.
