Michael Ellison has made his first acquisition of the new era at Runcorn Linnets with the capture of midfielder Harry McGee from Lower Breck.
Harry, 23, played for the manager at Widnes, making 23 appearances in last season's run to the West Division title and scoring seven goals.
He didn't feature in either game against Linnets.
Harry was previously at Witton Albion before switching to the DCBL Stadium in November 2024.
He has played the vast majority of NPL games for league leaders Breck this season, scoring a handful of goals.
The player had been schooled in the Academy at Wigan Athletic, where he appeared regularly as a 19-year-old in their Under 23s side.
In March 2022, a youth loan move took him into the Northern Premier League with Premier Division outfit FC United of Manchester.
The deal enabled Harry to play senior football at Broadhurst Park while continuing to represent Latics' U23s.
At the time, he was a first-year professional, having earned a senior contract at Wigan with impressive displays for the club’s U18s.
Harry continued his encouraging progress in the 2021-22 campaign, enhancing his reputation as a box-to-box performer, but was released on the expiry of his contract in May 2022.
