Nantwich trip tests powers of recovery

The road to redemption after Saturday's defeat at Newcastle Town takes Runcorn Linnets to Nantwich Town tomorrow in search of a return to winning ways.

We visited Swansway Stadium twice last season, enjoying a 2-0 November victory in Northern Premier League West but losing by the same scoreline in the Cheshire Senior Cup back in January.

Only goal difference separates Nantwich who are 12th in the table from Linnets in 14th. Both have 13 points with Nantwich three goals better off, having played an extra game.

Manager Michael Ellison will demand a response and hopes to be at least back towards full strength in defence.
