Peter Redican RIP

Runcorn Linnets are very saddened by the passing of Peter Redican at the age of 92.

Peter had been a club director of Runcorn AFC in the 1980s, also serving as club secretary for a spell.

He was associated with Runcorn Cricket Club as a forner player. Brother Tony had been a prominent anateur footballer with Runcorn Athletic.

An Everton season-ticket holder along with his son Simon and other relatives, Peter fulfilled his ambition of attending the Hill Dickinson Stadium to see his beloved Blues play at their new home.

Our sympathies go to his Simon, family and friends.

Widower Peter's wife Frenna, who worked in the Runorn AFC Development Office in Regent Street, died in the spring of 2024.
