This afternoon's Isuzu FA Trophy Second Round Qualifying tie against Bury was abandoned without play being restarted for the second half.

Persistent rain had turned into a deluge towards half-time, causing the pitch to become waterlogged.

Scores had been level at 1-1 after a very even first 45 minutes. Scott Bakkor put Linnets ahead in the seventh minute from a defence-splitting pass by Eden Gumbs,

Ten minutes later, home 'keeper Harvey Bardsley reacted well to keep out a Tyler James shot but had no chance with a rebound header from Djavan Pedro.

Details of the rearranged tie will be announced once finalised.
