Under 18s duo promoted to U21s for new season

Runcorn Linnets Under 21s are delighted to announce the signings of Charlie Cowell, left, and Callum Dennett from our U18s Greens.🤝

Both lads have impressed the management team since they started training with the 21s in late November.💛

Callum and Charlie will be part of the 2026/27 squad in the North West Under 21s Development League Premier Division.💚

Charlie, 17, has been with Runcorn Linnets for three seasons. He is an attacker with loads of energy and an eye for goal and has been Players' Player of the Year for the last two seasons

Callum, also 17, joined Linnets as an 11 year old. A versatile player, he is strongest out wide and can operare on either wing.

Callum is very skilful and posseses a sweet left foot.

Ste Ellams, manager of Runcorn Linnets U21s, said: "Both lads have impressed through the winter and again in the summer sessions.

"Their attitude and application are a joy to see in such young players and the lads are a really strong addition to an already strong squad.

"I am looking forward to working with both Charlie and Callum the next 12 months.

Ade Miller, manager of Runcorn Linnets U18s Greens, said: "I'm very proud to see the lads make the step up to the U21s.

"It's fully deserved and I look forward to seeing them showcase their abilities at the higher agegroup."
