A spooky statistic for Hallowe'en

We open a fresh chapter in the history of Runcorn Linnets on Saturday when player-manager Jacques Welsh and assistant player-boss Peter Wylie make official debuts in their roles.

This will be the third time in succession that we start a new managerial era with a game against Vauxhall Motors.

Brad Cooke's reign began with a 1-1 draw against the Ellesmere Port side in February 2025 while in January of this year, a 3-1 victory away to the same opponents launched Michael Ellison's second stint in charge.

Spooky? Well it is Hallowe'en after all!

Runcorn Supprters Club will also be marking the occasion with some ghostly goings on in the clubhouse after the match!!
