Former LFC Europa League campaigner Adam Morgan arrives at the APEC

Runcorn Linnets are delighted to announce the capture of former Liverpool striker Adam Morgan.

The 30-year-old arrives from Widnes but began the season at City of Liverpool, scoring twice in five outings.

He has also played in the NPL for Mossley.

Adam was at Anfield for 12 years, becoming a prolific marksman for the Under 18s and reserves.

He was called up for the Reds' 2012 summer tour to USA under Brendan Rodgers.

This saw appearances against Toronto, Roma and Tottenham Hotspur - with a goal against the Canadians.

In 2012-13, Adam gained Europa League experience against Scottish club Hearts and Russia's Anzhi Makhachkala.

Loan transfers to EFL clubs Rotherham United and Yeovil Town culminated in a permanent switch to Yeovil, who in turn sanctioned a temporary move for the player to St Johnstone in Scotland in 2014-15.

Adam has since accumulated a long list of clubs in Wales (Colwyn Bay), Ireland (Sligo Rovers) and various destinations in the South of England, including Hemel Hempstead Town, Romford and Chelmsford City.

Once described by Liverpool sciring legend Robbie Fowler as one of the best finishers he has seen - and capped by England Under 17s and U19s - Adam's previous clubs also include Curzon Ashton and FC Halifax Town.

Welcome to Runcorn Linnets. Adam!
