Linnets land experienced forward and a teenage midfielder from famous family

We have made a couple of signings ahead of tomorrow's game against 1874 Northwich.

Former Bootle and City of Liverpool striker Tom Peterson arrives with a good pedigree in non-league football in the area. He scored more than 100 goals in his time with the Bucks.

The experienced frontman, 31, has also played for Burscough and Widnes.

We have meanwhile completed the loan capture of Harry Gerrard from Preston North End.

17-year-old Harry is the son of Anthony Gerrard, cousin of Steven.

Anthony made alnost 500 EFL appearances as a centre half with clubs including Walsall, Cardiff City and Heddersfield Town.

Harry signed hid first professional contract with Championship club PNE in 2025.

A left-footed midfielder, he has been at the club since U8s level.

Harry, seen in the centre of the photo below, has a great range of passing and an ability to score from distance.
