Blackpool 'keeper Harvey Bardsley drafted in on loan

Runcorn Linnets give a debut to 19-year-old goalkeeper Harvey Bardsley in this afternoon's televised FA Cup tie at Pickering Town.

Harvey has joined on loan from Blackpool with  regular No. 1 Bayleigh Passant sidelined by a knee injury.

In May this year, Harvey signed a new one-year contract at the EFL One club, the Seasiders having an option for a further 12 months.

After almost a year on the sidelines due to injury, he last season had a nine-game loan spell at Bamber Bridge of the NPL Premier Division.

Harvey joined Blackpool in 2023 and promptly helped the Development Squad to silverware in a penalty shootout win over Wigan Athletic in the Central League Cup final at Bloomfield Road.
