Caring for the elderly at Christmas

While supporting the Halton Christmas Toy Appeal, we are looking to spread cheer further into the community over the festive season.

The club is, therefore, extending its appeal to include gifts for residents of local care homes, particularly those who have dementia and/or no family.

Donations of the following would be particularly appreciated.

  • Toiletries

  • Handbags (can be used if in good condition)

  • Dolls and jigsaws

  • Christmas cards

These and other suitable gifts can be brought along with items for the toy appeal - including those for teenagers - to either of our pre-Christmas home games.

These are against Hanley Town (Saturday, December 14th) and Wythenshawe (Saturday, December 21st).

The drop-off point is in the clubhouse.

Thank you.
