Farewell to Joe Lynch

Midfielder Joe Lynch has left the club to begin a new adventure in Dubai.

Joe rejoined Runcorn Linnets last summer after being an integral part of our 2021-22 NPL West play-off final squad under Calum McIntyre.

The player followed Calum to Chester before linking up with us again to the obvious delight of fans.

Joe made 29 appearances for Billy Paynter's team, scoring six goals.

He had netted seven times in 45 games first time around.

The former Morecambe and Crewe Alexandra player has been a very popular player at APEC Taxis Stadium.

While we are sorry to see him go, we thank him for his contrubution to the club and wish him every success in the future.
