Indefinite stadium ban for Runcorn Linnets supporter

Runcorn Linnets have issued an indefinite banning order against a supporter for violating the club's zero tolerance policy to personal abuse.

Despite previous warnings about his misconduct at games and online, the fan has continued to abuse players of opposition clubs during matches at APEC Taxis Stadium and to make unacceptable comments on social media about our players, staff and other people at the club.

Runcorn Linnets have worked hard with the individual concerned to resolve the matter in a more positive and amicable way but the Trust Board felt that after the latest breaches, it had no alternative but to take this regrettable action.

The supporter concerned is banned indefinitely from our stadium and grounds.

The club will not be commenting further on the matter.
