Lest We Forget

Remembrance commemorations at Runcorn Linnets will see a two- minute silence observed before kick-off in tomorrow's Pitching In Northern Premier League West home match against Kidsgrove Athletic.

The Last Post will be sounded and both clubs will lay a wreath in honour of those who lost their lives in the two World Wars and other conflicts.

Our wreath will then be laid at Runcorn Cenotaph as part of the town's official Remembrance Sunday service.

The club still has Runcorn Linnets poppy pin badges on sale.

These are available from the club shop at APEC Taxis Stadium, priced £5.

A donation from the proceeds will be made to the Royal British Legion.
