Runcorn Linnets and Northwich Victoria have completed negotiations over their new groundshare by signing the official agreement.

The deal will see Vics play home games at Linnets’ APEC Taxis Stadium for the next two seasons and follows five weeks of cordial and positive discussions between the two parties.

Northwich Victoria's chairman Ian Egerton and co-president Brian Turner expressed their gratitude for the help and support received from Runcorn Linnets during the talks.

It was revealed last month that on advice from Winsford Town Council, Vics' tenancy at Winsford United will end once this season is over.

Vics officials have been very complimentary about the welcome they have enjoyed since first approaching Linnets over the move.

Peter Cartledge, chairman of Runcorn Linnets, said the club looks forward to an excellent working relationship with Northwich Victoria and trusts they will enjoy using APEC Taxis Stadium as a playing base, initially for 2025-26 and 2026-27.

To set the seal on their partnership, the two clubs have confirmed they will meet for a pre-season fixture on a date to be announced.
