Runcorn Linnets are inviting initial expressions of interest from companies and organisations for the sponsorship of our club stadium from the start of next season.

We are a fans-owned club, based in the Murdishaw area of Runcorn, Cheshire, and operating for the benefit of the community.

Our talented multi-age group players and our enthusiastic supporters are drawn from our town and surrounding areas.

The semi-professional men's first team presently competes at Step 4 of the National Leagues System, lying third in Pitching In Northern Premier League West Division.

The 14-year-old stadium, has a 1,600 capacity with plans in place for improvement and expansion of the modern facility as we continue to progress up the pyramid towards the EFL.

Our club record home attendance was set two seasons ago with an all-ticket full house for the first of our two NPL West Play-off Final appearances.

The stadium is also the home venue for Runcorn Linnets Ladies, operating in the  North West Regional Women's League Division One South, and our ESPFA Academy team, representing Cheshire in a full-time football and education programme for 16-18 year old boys.

It is also the base for our popular Akidamey with weekly weekend sessions for 3-7 and 7-11 year olds.

The stadium's half a million pound hybrid pitch was installed for the 2020-21 season by the Football Association, through the Football Foundation.

Our club was selected as one of eight host sites for the ground-breaking five-year pilot scheme.

The stadium is used for home games by two prominent grassroots men's teams from the Halton and Merseyside areas and regularly by other community groups, including schools.

The successful bidder in the tender process will have naming rights to the stadium for an agreed period, from the start of 2024-25 season, while enjoying an attractive package of associated benefits.

Any party with a prospective interested in this rare opportunity and exciting partnership with an ambitious and progressive community football club, which has around 400 players and attracts some of the best first-team crowds at its level, is welcome to contact Trust Board member and commercial manager, Paul Riley for further information.

or call Paul on 07525261623.
