Runcorn Linnets are delighted to announce the appointment of Lee Bignell as first team coach.
Lee most recently held the same role at Widnes and was instrumental in their Pitching In Northern Premier League West title success last season.
A UEFA B coach, Lee rejoins Runcorn Linnets, having previously managed our Under 21s.
He also has managerial experience at Prescot Cables, Runcorn Town, Ashton Town and Helsby.
Linnets manager Brad Cooke said:
"I have known Biggs for a number of years since we met whilst doing our coaching badges.
"We have always kept in touch and as soon as there was an opportunity to work with him, I jumped at the chance.
"He’s a Runcorn lad, he loves the club and last season won the league with Widnes. That experience is invaluable.
"He’s a top coach but most importantly, he’s a great person. It’s a massive signing for us."
Lee Bignall said: "Linnets is a fantastic club and has a brilliant fanbase.
"When Brad offered me the opportunity to work with him and Sadz it was a no brainer for me. I mm a Runcorn lad so getting the opportunity to work at my hometown club is an honour.
"Hopefully, I can bring some of my experience from winning the league last season and we can get the team challenging and pushing for promotion."
