Welcome

Welcome to the official website of Runcorn Linnets FC.

We are a Trust-based club formed in the 2006 off-season by the fans of the now defunct Runcorn FC (which was playing under the name "Runcorn FC Halton" at the time). Although at the time technically a "new" club, the Linnets were given special dispensation by the FA to be treated as a reformed version of Runcorn FC - the special dispensation was necessary as the old club had simply become dormant, choosing not to field a team, as opposed to ceasing to exist as a legal entity.

We currently play in the North West Counties Football League, and were awarded Charter Standard in October 2011.

Reduced prices for pre-season matches

The cost of admission to home pre-season matches at the Millbank Linnets Stadium will be reduced from our normal league and cup prices.

Entry will be 3 for adults and 2 for concessions.

The full schedule of warm-up games is available on the Fixture page.

Season tickets now on sale for 2014-15

Season tickets are now available for the 2014-15 campaign in the North West Counties League Premier Division.

The club is happy to announce that in recognition of the continuing loyal and valued support of our fans, admission prices will once again remain unchanged for the league season starting on Saturday, August 2 2014.

At the gate admission will continue to be 5 for adults with 3 for concessions (17-18 year-olds, students in full-time education and those aged 65/over).

There is also a 2 reduction at the turnstile for holders of the Halton Leisure Card.

Under 16s will again be admitted free if accompanied by a paying adult/season ticket holder.

This means adult supporters will again be paying the NWCL's minimum admission price of 5 for a fifth consecutive season while enjoying some of the best facilities in our division.

Admission charges have been pegged since we returned to Runcorn in 2010 and reduced prices from our initial spell as tenants of Witton Albion.

Season tickets are for league matches only. Prices of 90 for adults and 54 for concessions equate to THREE free matches over the 21-game home programme. Half-season tickets are also available.

Full details and payment methods are available on the Season Ticket page.

2014-15 membership update

The Trust will not be issuing any membership renewals in June, July and August. This is because, in line with the changes passed at the club's AGM in December, all existing memberships expiring in these months are automatically extended to August 31st 2014.

All current memberships now expire on that date and become due for renewal on September 1st 2014. Once the new membership system is operational, the club will not need to send out subscription reminders to members - everyone will know when their membership is due.
2014-15 membership is now available - advance renewals and joining applications are being accepted.

Click here to visit the Trust Page for further details and the membership application form.
