We are very saddened to have heard of the passing of Trevor Walker, another of our stalwart fans.
Not only a lifelong supporter of the Linnets, he had also been a regular on the social club scene in Runcorn FC days at Canal Street.
Trevor and his wife Linda, who died a number of years ago, were familiar faces at weekend cabaret nights.
Later, the couple became actively involved with Runcorn War Memorial Club.
Linda served as secretary for many years while Trevor was chairman.
Another of the great Linnets characters, who was never short of a one liner, Trevor was still attending games until recently and will be very much missed.
He passed away on Satuday, November 25th 2023.
The funeral is at Walton Lea Crematorium on Tuesday, December 19th at 12.40pm.
The family say any Linnets supporters attending are welcome to wear club colours should they wish.
Afterwards, there will be a get-together at the 'Warmy' to remember Trevor.
